Sweetgreen Hummus Tahina Recipe – Since I moved to Boston, Sweetgreen has been one of my favorite places to eat because it offers a variety of salads and bowls that are both nutritious and affordable. However, if I didn’t have to leave my apartment in order to pick up a meal from Sweetgreen, I’d appreciate it even more.
In addition, one of my favorite things to do is to make traditional tahini dressing, which consists of raw tahini, lemon, agave, and water. I have adapted this recipe so that it contains cucumber and tahini. This one is almost as simple.
Sweetgreen Hummus Tahina Recipe
Although it kadinsalyasam.com does require a sweetgreen hummus tahina little amount of blending in order to make the cucumbers and garlic as smooth as possible.
Ingredients (makes 1 salad) hummus tahina sweetgreen
To Complement the Salad Hummus Tahina Sweetgreen:
2 cups finely cut red romaine lettuce leaves
1 ounce of chopped spinach
1/4 of a cup of carrot “matchsticks”
1 cucumber small, finely sliced
5 cherry tomatoes, sliced in half and quartered
1 T banana peppers
1/8 of a cup of diced red onion
1 falafel, chopped
1 teaspoon of your preferred hummus
1 teaspoon of breadcrumbs of your preference (I used GF panko)
1-2 tablespoons of a tahini and cucumber dressing (see below)
To make the Dressing (approximately half a cup, or eight tablespoons)
1 cup of diced cucumber, measuring half an inch each
2-3 T raw tahini
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 milligram of garlic, minced
3 T warm water
1/2 t agave (optional)
Make sweetgreen at home the dressing can be made by combining cucumber, 2 tablespoons of tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and water in a small blender or food processor. Combine all of the ingredients and process until the cucumbers are finely diced and the dressing is smooth. Adjust tahini and agave (optional) to taste.
You can make the dressing thinner by adding additional water, or you can start with 2 tablespoons to make it thicker. You may keep any leftover dressing in the refrigerator for up to a week. Put all of the salad ingredients in a bowl about this size. To evenly distribute the dressing and hummus, give everything a good toss. Start with 1 t of dressing and adjust according to your preference.

Sweetgreen Hummus Tahina Recipe – There are times when you simply desire something that is a little bit more immediate.
